Melissani cave

It’s an attraction that will make you unmistakable. It is placed almost2 km northwest of Sami in Kefalonia. The natural entrance of the cave is vertical and was founded by the fall of a section of the roof. Ansimulated entry with stairs and a long underground path allows a visit to the cave. The lake is located 20 m below the surface of the soil and its depth is from 10 m to 30 m. Stalks with weird shapes adorn the largest part of the cave.
