Woodloch Resort at Hawley, Pennsylvania
Amidst over 1,000 acres beside Lake Teedyuskung, the Woodloch Resort is a resort and an amusement park rolled into one. During the summer months, there’s hiking, waterskiing, biking, and zip-lining. Whereas, over wintertime, you can enjoy snow-tubing, ice skating, and snowshoeing, plus there’s a Wii center, a gym, and an indoor swimming pool. On top of all that, there’s a climbing wall, bumper boats, a miniature golf course, and go-carts. Thus, there’s no time for any boredom to set in.
Paradise Guest Ranch at Buffalo, Wyoming
Situated in a valley within the Bighorn National Forest, there are over a million acres of forested land which come under the auspices of Paradise Guest Ranch, and that means you’ll be unlikely to ride the same trail more than once. Throughout the day, kids that are aged 6 years and over can sit atop their own horses and meander the trails at leisure. The younger kids can help to bottle-feed the calves and enjoy pony rides. Prior to retiring in the evening to your cozy cabin, you can gather together with other holidaymakers at the French Creek Salon, also on the ranch, for a dance and a sing-along. Furthermore, on Thursdays, the saloon caters to adults only, while the kids can go on their own venture and enjoy an overnight campout.
