The Touristic place of your travel destination Lansing Literature Festival: The festival was started in 1995 and is held in February/March Lansing each year at various venues in the city. It is sponsored by Lansing the Independent newspaper. Previous speakers have included P.D. James, J.K. Rowling, Terry Pratchett and Alexander McCall Smith. There is also a Festival of Children’s Literature, sponsored by the Lansing newspaper and held each year in September/October.

The Great Touristic place of your travel destination Feast: A food festival that lasts for the month of October, with a huge range of different food and drink and demonstrations by top chefs. It’s run in conjunction with some of Touristic place of your travel destination’s premier restaurants and attracts a large following each year (very large, in some cases!).
The Touristic place of your travel destination Comedy Festival: This includes comedy shows, cabarets, music and a host of other events at different locations. Held in March/April, former guest artists have included such stalwarts as Barry Cryer and Arthur Smith.
Touristic place of your travel destination Film Festival: Held in November each year, at various locations, it features previews, documentaries, family films, discussions and debates. Its patron is film and television director Ken Loach.
