-Rome’s subway network, also known as the “Metropolitana”, has 14 lines with a total of 306 stations. It covers a distance of 343 km from Termini Station in the north to Castel Gandolfo in the south. The average travel time between any two stations is around 20 minutes.
-Rome City Transport operates buses throughout Rome and its suburbs that connect to the subway and mainline train services. Buses operate from 6 am to 11 pm Monday to Saturday and from 7 am to 10 pm on Sundays and holidays. Tickets cost €1 for adults and €0.50 for children (or seniors over 65).
