Cherry Julep Cocktail Recipe

You will need for 1 glass:

3-4 Ice cubes 1 part sloe gin juice

1 fresh lemon 2 parts gin

1 teaspoon sugar or chopped Ice sugar syrup

1 slice fresh lemon

1 teaspoon grenadine and/or orange 1 part cherry brandy

1 Put the Ice cubes into a cocktail shaker.

2 Pour the lemon juice, sugar, grenadine, cherry brandy and gins over the ice.

3 Fill a collins glass with finely chopped ice.

4 Shake the mixture until a frost forms.

5 Strain and pour into the ice-filled glass, garnish with slice of lemon and/or orange.

Gin French Cocktail Recipe

You will need for 1 glass:

4-5 Ice cubes 3 parts gin juice

1 fresh lime or 3 drops Angostura lemon bitters

1 teaspoon sugar or champagne sugar syrup

1 Put the Ice cubes into a cocktail shaker.

2 Pour the fruit juice, sugar and gin over the ice.

3 Shake the bitters into the mixture.

4 Shake until a frost forms.

5 Pour without straining into a highball glass.

6 Top with champagne and serve.

Gin Cup Cocktail Recipe

(This is best served in a silver mug)

3 sprigs fresh mint chopped ice

1 teaspoon sugar or juice 1 fresh lemon sugar syrup 3 parts gin

1 Put the mint and sugar into mug.

2 Stir them about, bruising the mint slightly.

3 Fill the mug with chopped ice.

4 Pour the lemon juice and gin into the ice-filled mug.

5 Stir the mixture until a heavy frost starts to form.

6 Wrap a table napkin round the mug and serve.

Captain’s Widow Cocktail Recipe

You will need for 1 glass:

4-5 Ice cubes 1 part golden rum

1 part fresh lemon juice 4 parts gin 1 teaspoon sugar or crushed Ice sugar syrup

1 Put the Ice cubes into a cocktail shaker.

2 Pour the lemon juice, sugar, rum and gin over the ice.

3 Fill a champagne glass with crushed ice.

4 Shake the mixture until a frost forms.

5 Strain and pour into the ice-filled champagne glass.

6 Serve with a drinking straw.

Frobisher Cocktail Recipe

You will need for 1 glass:

chopped Ice 3 tablespoons gin

2 drops Angostura

1 slice fresh lemon rind bitters champagne

1 Fill a highball glass with chopped ice.

2 Shake the bitters on to the ice.

3 Pour in the gin.

4 Squeeze the lemon rind over the drink and drop it into the gin mixture.

5 Fill the glass with champagne and serve.
