Round trip airfare from Home to Bangkok: $1,500US (approx.)

Round trip airfare from Bangkok to Phuket: $100US (approx.)

Taxi to Gym and back to Airport: $40US

1 month unlimited training: $333 US (10,000 baht)

1 Month hotel room: $500US (15,000 baht) – Floraville or similar near the gym

Total: $2,473 US

If you compare the two breakdowns – staying in the exact same hotel and everything else being equal – it’s only going to cost you $233US more to stay for twice
as long. That’s crazy! If you start factoring in other things like renting a motorbike and food it’ll be even cheaper. The reason why I left food out of the
budget is because you have to spend money on food when you’re back home anyways, and it’s actually far cheaper to eat out 4 times a day in Thailand than it
would be to eat back home in the U.S. Unless, of course, you still live with your parents; however, that’s even more reason to come travel and train – to get
out of the house! Even if you’re not coming to Thailand to do Muay Thai or MMA and are just here to travel, it’s still a far better deal for you to get the
most out of that crazy, expensive airfare – come and stay for a while. Life really shouldn’t be rushed.

Round trip airfare from Home to Bangkok: $1,500US (approx.)

2 weeks unlimited training: $200US (6,000 baht)

2 weeks hotel room: $400US (12,000 baht) – Floraville or similar near the gym

Total: $2,240 US

A lot of people don’t factor in the airfare in the budget but that’s the biggest part of it – factor that shit in!
