Singapore Gardens by the Bay

Singapore is known as the garden city but with the creation of gardens by the day, it’s transforming Singapore into a city within a garden. These interesting looking structures behind me are called the super trees. And the super trees have these solar panels on-top of them, which help create energy for the garden. These man-made trees are also vertical gardens ’cause you’ll notice they’re vines that are gonna eventually cover the entire tree. Just about to walk into the flower dome. This is where they change the flowers every season. It is so much cooler in here. Oh my god, I see tulips. This must be the flower of the season. It smells so good in here. Got an interesting fact, the tulip got it’s name because it resembles a shape of a turban. The Gardens by the Bay has the flower dome, which is the Mediterranean climate. And then it has a cloud forest, which is the tropical climate. Whoa, look at this waterfall. I really feel like I’m walking through a rain forest. What a fun way to spend the afternoon.

Singapore Sentosa Island Afternoon Trip

This post I’m spending the afternoon on Sentosa Island. The cable car over to Sensosa Island only takes about 15 minutes. And the views are spectacular. The dolphin show is about to begin. This is one of the highlights on Sentosa Island. Wow, I have never seen a pink dolphin before. I can’t wait to see what’s next. The SEA Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the world. It actually stands for South East Asia Aquarium. Look at all these fish. What’s really cool about this tunnel is there’s a conveyor belt. Just hop on, and it takes you right through. I am surrounded by fish in this tunnel. This place is so big, there are 49 different habitats in 10 zones. Time for the big finale, the Songs of the Sea Show. What a fun way to spend the afternoon. Sentosa Island really does have something for everyone.
