Packing for your holiday can be one of the most exciting parts about going away! Nothing has gone wrong yet: you haven’t missed any connections, eaten something funny, or got totally lost in a strange city for hours on end. When you are still doing your packing, your holiday is full of promise and you only have good expectations and high hopes for your adventure. However, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t a few land mines in the packing process that you need to be aware of, and sometimes one of the most complicated ones is something that you would assume to be very simple: and that is toothpaste.

Toothpaste is something that none of us could really live without; the vast majority of us use it twice a day to ensure that our dental health is good. However, with flight rules and immigration rules all over the world tightening up due to fears and concerns over security, many people are being caught out with toiletries. That is because many different countries and different airlines have different rulesand these rules change all of the time. That means that many passengers get caught out, have to hand over their precious toothpaste, and then end up at their destination without any way of brushing your teeth.

People, let’s pay attention: do your research! You should check with your airline and airport, the week leading up to your holiday, exactly what their rules are. That way there should not any horrible surprises in the queue before you bored. Of course, if you do get caught out and find yourself without any toothpaste, you could always make your own! You’ll only need five common ingredients that can be found in any shop, and with a little natural mixing, your problem is solved.
